Brother Samuel RosKelley: By the authority of the holy priesthood and in the name of Lord Jesus Christ, my master, I lay my hands upon your head, and according to your desires I give unto you a Patriarchal blessing. Thou are of the House of Israel and of the lineage of Ephraim and the blood of that Royal lineage flows freely through thy veins, and although in the earlier part of thy life thy pathway has been strewn with trials which have been heaped upon thee by thine enemies, yet through the help of thy God, thou hast been more than conquered; and thy mind has become full of comfort and joy, and satisfaction has filled thy soul, as a reward for thy faithfulness during the early part of thy life. The promise of the Lord is unto thee for good; even that thy last days shall be thy best days, and thou shalt live for many years upon the earth; yea, thou shalt live to the full age of man. Even until thou hast passed thy 85th birthday. And thy body shall be filled with vitality, thy health shall be renewed unto thee, and thy vital powers shall be full of the strength and vitality of youth. Yea, thou shalt be blessed with the full desires of thy heart before the Lord. And thou shalt stand at the head of thy family as a servant of God. And thou shalt have great strength in the Holy Priesthood. If any member of thy family are sick, through the gift and Power of the Holy Priesthood that has been placed upon thee, when thou shall be anointed with oil, and when thou shall lay thy hands upon them they shall be healed. And thou shalt have the gift of discernment, and thou shalt know those that stand before thee what spirit they are of. This shall be thy gift, and the blessing of the Lord will make it manifest unto thee so that thou shalt not be deceived.

All the powers and gifts and blessings that were promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thine; for they shall be sealed upon thy head, and they shall be continued unto thee, and unto all thy generations that will obey the counsel of their husband and father. For thou shall not fail to continue faithful to the end of thy life, for thou wast fore-ordained to do a mighty work upon the Earth and the Father great respect unto thee, and will honor thee in all thy labors, and thou shall fulfil thy measure according to thy promises before thou entered this probation. Brother Samuel RosKelley the Lord has great respect unto thee, thy Heavenly Father has confidence in thee, and he will not fail thee in every time of need, but he will be thy comforter, and will sustain thee in all the conditions of life which may be placed in thy pathway in thy long future upon the Earth. Thou shalt be blessed with plenty, thy table shall be spread with the bounties of the Earth, and thou, nor thy numerous family shall want for any of the necessities of life. But when thou art advanced in years, thy name shall be reverenced in thy family, and they shall honor their father and their head with great respect, and they shall surround thy habitation by the scores to bless and to comfort their aged parent.

Father in heaven, I place these blessings upon the head of this thy servant, and through his faithfulness before thee, in which he will not fail; all these blessings shall be fulfilled upon his head, for I seal them upon him in the name of Jesus Christ, Master, and by the power and authority of the holy priesthood that has been sealed upon me, and I seal him up unto eternal life, unto crowns, principalities and thrones and kingdoms in thy Celestial presence even in the presence of God and the Lamb. All these blessings I seal upon you, Brother Samuel RosKelley in the name of Jesus Christ, my master. Even so, Amen.
