Brother ***** I place my hands upon thy head and pronounce unto thee a Patriarchal blessing having been ordained to this high and holy office by Elder Harold B. Lee of the Council of the twelve. This blessing will be an inspiring influence in thy life insomuch as it is a gift of the Lord unto thee. It will be a directive force and power for good and it will be manifest in thy future days. This will be in mortality and even beyond the veil and many of the problems that arise and many of the questions that arise in thy mind will be clearer to thee from this day forth. Dear brother it is pleasing unto the Lord that as one of His sons you have come out of the world of darkness into that of light and truth. And you stand on the threshold of greatness in the Kingdom of God. Through thy righteous endeavors there will be manifest in thy life blessings that will bring comfort and joy and happiness and understanding. Even thy health and wisdom and knowledge will be increased and thy days upon the earth will be prolonged according to the will of our heavenly Father for the completion of thy fore-ordained mission here.

In the spirit world before this earth was organized you stood among the faithful and the obedient even those who were in tune and in harmony with the plan of the Savior. And you fought on the side of right and through fore-ordination you were reserved to come forth in this dispensation. And you many know at this time that it is not an accident in your life that you are a member of the Church.

You are through the loins of Ephraim the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt and you are choice indeed even one of the princes in the Kingdom of God here. You will understand that being descended through the prophets Abraham Isaac and Jacob that truly you are a noble son of our heavenly Father through righteousness. And that is your blessing as long as you are faithful in all the duties you have to perform for those three great prophets are now gods and sit upon their thrones in exaltation.

Dear Brother I seal your life against the power of the adversary who is aware of your fore-ordained mission and you may know that you do not have to wait until the days of the Millennium to bind the hands of evil against you. Through your power as an Elder in Israel as you exercise your priesthood in worthiness and in righteousness you have greater power than that of evil for the only power that Satan can bring against you is that of tempting. And only those who permit their lives to become weakened are the ones who are led astray.

Dear Brother you will stand at the head of a numerous posterity and there will be those among your descendants even your posterity who will rise up and call you blessed for the goodness of your life and the blessings you have brought to them. You will be even as a savior upon Mount Zion in your father's household in the gathering of numerous names of your kindred ancestors. Your work in the temples of the Lord will be great indeed and great joy and satisfaction will come to you in that noble work. You will be one who truly will receive the inspiration of heaven in the gathering of your genealogy. In the temples you will receive the inspiration of heavenly messengers between heaven and earth in your behalf.

Sweet is the work that is yours to do but you will have problems in life dear Brother for there are those things that come about to try one but do not be discouraged. Have faith and great determination and through the power of the pristhood and those who preside over you in counsel and advice and through the wisdom that you will receive in prayer and in righteous living you will be a man of intelligence. And you will be able to give even unto others advice and counsel and even that which will direct them. It will be your mission to live in such a way that you will be a dutiful man in the Church and you will set a great example. And as you go unto the unbeliever there will be many who will understand the testimony that you give to them. Your power to explain the Gospel will be great indeed and There will be those who will go down into the waters of baptism through the sweet teachings of the Gospel truths that you will bear to them. There will be those who will stand before you even in such an attitude that they would gnash their teeth at you through the power of evil that influences them. But you will have the power to thwart all the forces that would tend to thwart the work that you can do in the Kingdom of God here.

Dear Brother you will be the means of bringing some who have departed from the truth and are negligent in their lives back onto the path of righteousness. This will be a great and inspiring influence with you. You will be in your home a loving husband and father and even your relatives will see the day when they will love your life as an example. And they will see the difference. Through the influence of the guardian angels of those who dwell within your home in your family those who come within will feel that sweet influence.

I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection of the just and the faithful and to understand and to know that through your faithfulness your name will be recorded in the Church books of the earth and the corresponding books in heaven. And it will be your privilege with understanding to have your mind so enlightened that you will give with a clear vision to others the necessity of having their names recorded in those books that they will not be lost. Through your faithfulness and diligence even through tithes and offerings your name will be written in the holy book of remembrance and the Savior will choose your among His faithful jewels.

In the days of the Millennium you will stand hand-in-hand with your beloved companion and you will be numbered and called among the faithful and the obedient to the principles of the Gospel even among those whom the Savior loves. You will behold His face and hear His voice. You will go on and preach the Gospel to the spirits in prison being numbered with the faithful Elders in that sweet and great work. you will be able to teach and to understand that baptism is an earthly ordinance for water is an earthly substance. And all those who have lived upon the earth and accept the Gospel must be baptized either in mortality or through proxy.

Peace be in thy life dear Brother. And the promise unto thee is that in the due time of the Lord through your progression you will be able to go on in eternal progression and be exalted and crowned as one of the noble sons of our heavenly Father in the highest degree of the celestial kingdom.

the problems in your financial life will be such that through your obedience to the laws and the ordinances of the Gospel and through wisdom and discernment you will be able to see that your family has the necessities of life and even in a physical and a mental and a spiritual way. And this blessing will be given to you in such a way that you will be able to bear testimony of it unto many even behind the pulpits of this Church. This blessing is given through the inspiration and vision of the Patriarchal office into thy individual life. It is recorded and ratified by the angels of heaven who rejoice over you and your testimony. Read it often in your life and it is sacred unto thee. And there will be a peace with your constantly as you do those things that the Savior has called you to do through His servants here upon the earth. This is in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Lee of the Council of the Twelve. Dear Sister this blessing which is given to thee according to thy desire and in harmony with thy wishes will be a guiding light and an inspiration in thy life inasmuch as it is a gift of the Lord in thy behalf. And it is ratified by the angels of heaven who record those things given through the priesthood for thy good.

Thy lineage is noble indeed inasmuch as you are through the loins of Ephraim the son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. And in that lineage the Gospel is restored in this day and you are one of the partakers of the same. It is for you to know that in the lineage of Ephraim are the home makers even those in Zion and this is the great mission of mothers in Israel. Our heavenly Father loves thee dearly for the manifest desires of thy heart to raise righteous and obedient souls unto him. Dear Sister you will know how great this mission is when you understand there is another lineage of father Abraham who are not home makers but are wanderers upon the face of the desert. The home that you make will be sweet and sacred and sanctified and even those who dwell therein will have their guardian angels to prompt them even as you teach your little children. The destroying angel will pass by your home even as is recorded in ancient and Holy Writ.

Dear sister you were one of the sweet and obedient even one of the bright and intelligent spirits in the spirit world before this earth was organized. And you were numbered among the most faithful and you were fore-ordained to come forth in this day. Through thy manifest desires you will go on and do great and privileged deeds of righteousness even in the Kingdom of God here upon the earth. And through all the goodness of thy life you will stand high with light and inspiration to direct you. The spirit of the Lord will dwell within your righteous tabernacle of flesh and that sweet and holy spirit will be reflected even from your countenance. there will be those who will see you and love you feeling the inspiration of that sweet spirit which is manifest in your life. You will stand as one placed high and mighty with the principles of the Gospel as mighty supporting pillars to place and support you in that privileged position. Privileged dear Sister inasmuch as you will be an inspiration unto others.

You will be able to teach the Gospel and your prayers will be answered even that you will be able to teach many whom you love. And you will see the fruits of your efforts and labors. Dear Sister always understand that even though you are one of the few in the Church the work is great indeed. But you will be given power to perform the mission that lies before you for when the Lord calls His children to great responsibilities He provides the way. The way will be provided for you to be one of the dutiful sisters in Zion and you will be loved by your associates. You will be a teacher and an expounder of the Gospel even in the classes of the Church and among those with whom you associate. And the principles of the Gospel will be felt by you and you will be able to live and abide by the laws and the ordinances.

You shall go into the temple of the Lord and be sealed in celestial marriage unto your beloved companion and your children will be sealed unto that union. Dear Sister that is a privilege and a blessing beyond the words of mortal man to explain to you in their entirety as a spiritual blessing unto you. But know and understand that the windows of heaven will be opened and blessings poured down even showered upon you. Dear Sister let there be peace in your life for sweet is the work that lies before you. Your health and strength will be such that you will perform the mission that is yours.

You will be an angel of mercy in your father's household among your kindred ancestors in the temples of the Lord. And you will feel that sweet influence in those holy houses inasmuch as you will be giving the privileges of the Gospel unto those who look to you. If the veil were withdrawn you would see those who love you and pray earnestly and intercede with the Lord in your behalf. And they are thankful that one of their number such as you has accepted the Gospel.

I seal you up to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection of the just and the faithful. And you will stand among those who are the faithful servants even those who have served the Lord.

Know and understand how great you are in the creation of all things. And in the words of King Benjamin those who are in the service of their fellowmen are in the service of God.

Dear Sister you will be a teacher of little children even in your home and in the Church. And the day will come in the eternities of time that you will be numbered and will join hands with the mothers and the wives and the daughters of prophets and you will do this in thanksgiving. You were fore-ordained to a great and a glorious mission and through thy earnest efforts and desires you shall be given every blessing promised unto thee in this recorded blessing. I seal upon thy head at this time all the blessings you have received in a proper way heretofore under the hands of the priesthood.

It will be your privilege to stand hand-in-hand with your beloved companion and be numbered with the faithful in the days of the Millennium when the Savior comes again to reign as King of all. You will be numbered with those to go forth in the celestialization of this earth. And truly in the eternities of time you will be privileged to be saved and exalted even crowned among the daughters of our heavenly Father in the highest degree of His celestial kingdom. And eternal offspring will be your great blessing there.

Dear Sister the blessings that await thee are numerous and great indeed and they are worth all the effort and the time and the talents and the gifts that you have in attaining those blessings. Your gifts and talents will be multiplied and increased and strengthened for your good and the good of your family and for the good of your fellowmen.

Let there be peace in your life as you read your blessing. Read it often for it is sacred unto thee and it is sealed upon thy head having been given through the power and the vision of the Patriarchal office of the priesthood into thy individual life. And the day will come dear Sister when there will be those who will love the testimony that you give. Your testimony will be such that those who hear you in the spirit of love will be greatly strengthened. This will be a gift with you.

Widsom is a great virtue that you should seek of the Lord and the promise unto thee is that you will receive it in abundance. And you will use wisdom with the knowledge and the understanding and the blessings of life that you have and to direct you in all of your efforts. This blessing is given with the knowledge and the understanding that from this day forth your power to do good will be stronger and with greater determination. This is given in the name of our Beloved Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. Amen.
