Brother *****, as a servant of God, I seal this patriarchal blessing upon your head, and I say unto you, it shall be unto you according to your faith. For in receiving a blessing, the words mean nothing but as you shall live for this blessing, then it shall be manifest in your life and it will be a guide unto you. For when the dark hours come and discouragement would overtake you, read this blessing and remember that it was told unto you that the power of the priesthood, which you hold, is greater than the power of all the kinds upon the earth. And though they may bring trouble unto the children of men, the priesthood will heal their troubles and will give unto you the distinct position of bearing, as it were, a bond that will heal their wounds, and men will turn unto you and seek for counsel and for wisdom at your hands. Even men older than you will hearken unto your teaching.

Even though you may be called upon to serve in the services of your country, yet the spirit of God will attend you and will keep you, inasmuch as you keep your life free from the evils of the world. Especially keep yourself free from that rebellious spirit which Satan places in our hearts making us feel that we want to be a law unto ourselves and not subject unto the laws of God, neither the laws of man. Therefore, put down any semblance of a desire to set your judgment above that of your presiding officers, and the Lord will hearken unto your prayers and will be with you by his guardian angel and the Lord shall bless you.

Go forth earnestly and fill your mind with the knowledge of the gospel, for it shall stand you in good stead and will raise you up in the eyes of those around you. You shall be responsible before God for the effects of your actions upon the lives of your fellow men, and in this life will God call you to account. If your actions are righteous and lead men to peace, then shall the blessings be poured out upon you. If your actions are of a contrary nature, to cause men to turn away from the truth, you shall be responsible, and their blood shall rest upon your garments.

In seeking a companion for life, be not satisfied with one who cannot go through the house of the Lord. For therein shall be your ultimate happiness and the goal for which you should continually strive. For therein is the power by which you shall stand in the presence of God and receive that crown of righteousness which shall entitle you to a position in the celestial kingdom. And all these things because you have faithfully earned them and not because I have spoken them, and I seal them upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Brother ***** in the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Priesthood which I hold and as a patriarch in the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints I lay my hands upon your head and give you a blessing to supplement the patriarchal blessing given to you as a young man by Brother Prince. And I pray our Father in Heaven, at this time, that I may be directed in the words which I pronounce upon your head that I may bless you and admonish yuo in such a manner that you will have comfort and satisfaction from the proceeds of this day. And I pray our Father's Spirit will be with you Brother *****, that you may continue to accept, as direction in your activities, the words that have been spoken in the blessing which was given to you by Brother Prince.

You are of the lineage of Ephraim and you are fortunate in your heritage that you are entitled, according to your lineage, to all of those blessings which were promised by the prophets of old to the children of Israel, according to your faithfulness and your integrity. And I bless you, at this time, that you will continue to use the talents with which our Father in Heaven has blessed you for the up-building of His Kingdom here upon earth. You are blessed with spirituality and a natural desire in your heart to be of service to your fellowbeings. And I bless you, at this time, that you will continue to serve in such a manner that others seeing your good example and hearing your sincere testimony of the truthfulness will feel to glorify our Father in Heaven and to join with us in the acceptance of the restored gospel. I bless you Brother ***** that you will have power to overcome the temptations which may present themselves from time to time and that you will use your free agency in determining your course of action from day to day in such a manner that you will progress in mortality and that you will prepare yourself for exaltation in our Father's Celestial Kingdom. I bless you, dear Brother, that you will recognize the responsibilities that rest upon you as a husband and father, that you will realize that your exaltation will depend largely upon keeping your family unit solid in the faith, that they, with you, may receive the exaltation that is promised to the faithful among our Father's children. Now I admonish you at this time, do not despair in the loss of your little one, continue to have faith and you will be blessed with additional posterity that will add to your happiness and your peace and in the satisfaction that you will feel in accomplishing our Father's divine purpose here in mortality. Now I admonish you at this time, continue in the course that you have chosen to follow, continue to be humble and prayerful and to seek increased knowledge that your testimony will strengthen and that you will continue to have a desire to serve your fellowbeings and to bring unto them the same peace and happiness that you desire for yourself. I seal these blessings upon your head at this time in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
