Beloved brother, *****, by the authority of the holy priesthood and the office of Patriarch, unto which I have been appointed, I lay my hands upon your head, and as the spirit shall direct I shall give unto you your patriarchal blessing. *****, the blood of Ephraim flows richly in your veins. You have been given a gift of great spirituality and receptiveness to the promptings of the spirit.

In due time you shall behold the Savior, even Jesus Christ, with your natural as well as your spiritual eyes. You will know, nothing doubting, that Jesus Christ is your elder brother, the Savior and Redeemer. You shall never doubt or question that experience nor that testimony which shall burn in your heart, and which shall prompt you to good and marvelous works.

The descendants of Ephraim have great and glorious responsibilities in these, the last days. You have been reserved by our Heavenly Father to come forth under special circumstances and to reside in a special home where you have been taught and trained and loved and appreciated for the stalwart spirit that you possess. You have been prepared to assume the responsibilities that soon shall be placed upon your shoulders.

I bless you with the gift of discernment, that you may know, when questions come to your mind, the right answers. You shall be able to sort out the right from the wrong, the truth from the false. You shall be able to understand and comprehend when good is clothed and presented as evil, or evil as good, and to know the difference, and to have the courage and determination to do that which is good.

I bless you that as events surrounding these last days transpire, that you shall have great opportunities to provide service to Heavenly Father's children, especially to those considered as lost. It shall be your responsibility to teach and to preach and to convert and to assist in bringing ordinances of salvation to many of those whom Heavenly Father has hidden away until these the last days.

I bless you further that as you diligently pursue the work and responsibilities that are yours, that the Lord will bless you with protection and with sensitivities which will enable you to accomplish the work amidst difficult and perhaps at times even dangerous situations. Be not worried or concerned, except concerned for carrying on the work of Jesus Christ that you have been given to do. Leave all other considerations in the hands of the Lord.

I bless you that you will, in due time, receive the fullness of the priesthood, and be authorized to officiate in many of the ordinances, conferring upon others promises and covenants pertaining to salvation and exaltation.

In the due time of the Lord, if you will be true and faithful, you shall be privileged to have one of your choice sealed to you in a holy temple. If both of you are true and faithful, you shall bring forth a righteous posterity and raise them up in truth, and righteousness and in love.

*****, seek not for the riches of this world, but let your life be more especially devoted to building up the kingdom of God. It will be necessary that you provide for yourself and your family in a temporal way, but beyond providing the necessities and a few of the nicer things of life, do not expend your talents and your energy and your time on that which does not have eternal value. Your life is to be characterized by pursuit of wisdom and knowledge, and providing acts of service and salvation to the children of Heavenly Father, your brothers and sisters.

I bless you that as events move forward, and as prophecies concerning the last days are fulfilled, it shall be your privilege to be in the midst of the leadership of the kingdom of God, and to carry great responsibilities, and to receive rich blessings in connection therewith.

I bless you further that the unspoken blessings that you desire, and the wishes of a pure heart, which you are inspired to present to Heavenly Father, will be granted to you as you need them, and when they will be of most value to you, and when you humbly and prayerfully seek them from Heavenly Father.

I seal you up to be a part of the great events and the conditions as the Savior prepares and makes His return to the earth. These blessings I pronounce upon you, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
