Sister ******, holding the authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood I humbly lay my hands upon your head and give unto you your patriarchal blessing and this I do by the authority vested in me as patriarch of the _____ Stake.

******, you are a choice daughter of Father in Heaven. You have prepared yourself well in the spirit world before you came forth upon the earth. You shall be guided and directed while here by the spirit which the Lord has placed in you. You shall feel the sweet influence of this spirit all the days of your life as you live in righteousness. You have been blessed to be born to goodly parents who love you very much and who are concerned about you always.

I admonish you to continue to study the scriptures that you will be well versed and that you will know and understand the principles of the gospel. I promise you that if you do this your life shall be rich and full and that the Lord shall have great use for you throughout your life here upon the earth. You shall have ample opportunities of serving in positions of leadership in the auxiliaries of the Church, whereby you may teach and led the children of Zion. You shall find great joy and happiness in these callings which the Lord shall bestow upon you.

I admonish you to live your life in a manner that is pure, virtuous, honest and chaste and to be a pure vessel with whom Heavenly Father may pour knowledge and wisdom and you shall be blessed. You shall be a beacon and a light unto those about you. I admonish you to live the standards which you have been taught all of your life for they are true principles and shall serve you well all the days of your life. I promise you further that as you live in truth and harmony with Heavenly Father's will that the righteous desires of your heart and the secret yearnings which you have shall come to pass. As you are steadfast in the things which you are given to do, you shall see the Lord's hand in bringing to pass the things which you have been promised.

I admonish you to get as much education as possible that you will be well prepared to take care of your family and to take care of the needs that shall arise in others from time to time. You shall be able to care for these brothers and sisters as they may stand in need.

If by the time you have reached the age of 21 and have no immediate prospect of marriage you are counseled to seek out your bishop and ask to serve as a full time missionary. This shall be but a few short months out of your life but it shall serve as a building block and stepping stone for you throughout the remainder of your life. It shall give you poise, judgement and maturity which you would not gain otherwise in such a short period of time. It will give you the opportunity to teach and preach the things which you know to be true. You have the solemn promise that should you find yourself in this situation as a full time missionary that you shall be watched over and protected continuously that no harm or accident shall befall you. The Lord shall be with you to guide and direct you and He shall lead you to those people who are truly seeking after gospel principles in their lives. I promise you that the Lord shall give you utterance that you shall be able to speak strongly and forcefully and convince those who would hear you and that none shall confound you. You shall be able to serve and honorable mission and shall find great joy and happiness in doing this.

When you have returned form your mission you may continue with your education. At the time appointed unto you, you have the solemn promise that the mate whom you have chosen in the spirit world shall come into your life and he shall be a worthy husband unto you, ready and able to take you to the house of the Lord to be sealed together as husband and wife for time and all eternity. Your union shall be blessed with choice spirits of Father in Heaven. You must raise them in all righteousness. guide and direct their lives that they may become useful servants of Father in Heaven.

You have descended through Father Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph and you are a descendant of the household of Ephraim and this great patriarchal line shall serve you well all the days of your life.

I admonish you to seek the Lord in prayer that you will be guided and directed in all the things that you do, those things spiritual and those things temporal. You are promised that the Lord shall answer your prayers in his own time and shall give you clear understanding of the things that he would have you do. Be patient with the Lord when you pray for he knows when the time is right.

You shall be blessed with many talents in your life. As you use these talents for the building up of the kingdom of Zion, others shall be added unto you from time to time. I remind you that all your blessings are predicated upon your worthiness and your faithfulness and promise you that as you live in harmony with Heavenly Father's will you shall be able to endure any of the trials and tribulation that life has to offer. You shall be able to handle anything that the Lord puts upon you or which shall come to you.

Your time upon the earth shall be well spent. You shall be here until such a time that you are needed on the other side of the veil. You shall come forth in the morning of the first resurrection clothed in immortality and glory and you shall have eternal life. These blessings and all others that Heavenly Father has in store for you I pronounce upon your head and do in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
