Sister *****, by the power and authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood and by virtue of the office of patriarch in that priesthood, I lay my hands upon your head to give you the desired patriarchal blessing. I bless you that as you study this blessing and cherish this blessing, it will be an instrument of peace and comfort to you throughout all the days of your life.

Sister *****, you are a beloved and choice daughter of your Father in Heaven. I bless you that you may throughout your life feel the love that your Heavenly Father has to give you, that you might find peace in times of difficulty, that you may find comfort in knowing that your Heavenly Father knows you, for His watchful care has been over you from the beginning. He greatly desires that you learn and do those things that will allow you to be able to return once again into His presence. He has blessed you greatly already in your life and He is pleased with the faith that you have cultivated at an early stage in your life. He has blessed you to have been able to come to this earth through the family of Ephraim and to have been placed in an environment wherein you would have an opportunity early in your life to learn the truth of the gospel, to know your Savior, to know your Father in Heaven, and to become a member of your Savior's kingdom. All these things you have been allowed because of the faith that you exhibited in your preexistence and your willingness and desire to do the will of your Father in Heaven. While you are here, do all that you can to take advantage of every opportunity you have to grow and to learn the truth and to show your worthiness to return once again into your Heavenly Father's presence. Sister *****, your Heavenly Father has blessed you with many talents that will not only bless your life but will also bless the lives of others as you learn to use these talents in ways that will benefit your life and help grow your Savior's kingdom on this earth. In seeking to use your talents for the benefit of the Lord's kingdom you will be helping to prepare this earth for the second coming of your Savior. This is a marvelous privilege that is allowed to very few and the Lord has blessed you with this privilege. It is to you to continue to prepare yourself that you may be worthy of this great blessing. I bless you that you may be diligent in doing so.

*****, I bless you that as you strive to become familiar with the scriptures and to study them diligently, even to make them your friend, the Lord will bless you greatly with peace and with understanding. As you are attentive to the counsel that He will give you through leaders He has called, and especially His prophets and apostles, you will be blessed in that your mind will be enlightened, your spirit strengthened and your love of your Savior will also grow and strengthen. I bless you that you may grow to love the leaders the Lord will choose to work with you, and help you, and lead you. I bless you that you may have the ability to find and to be attentive to those who will be best able to lead and guide you until you yourself are also able to bless the lives of you Father in Heaven's children in leading and guiding them into paths of righteousness. I bless you that you may understand the will of the Lord as He teaches you and helps you to understand the things that you will need to do and will need to learn. I bless you that you will be especially sensitive to the Spirit of the Lord and learn to understand the soft, quiet influence with which the Spirit of the Lord will impress you as the Lord guides you by this power to know right from wrong and which choices will best benefit your life and the lives of those over whom you will be responsible.

If you are diligent in learning the things of the Lord's kingdom and in learning to do the will of the Lord as the Holy Ghost teaches you, you will have the privilege of teaching many of your Father in Heaven's children and helping them to understand the truth of the gospel. You have been blessed with the ability to understand and empathize with those who are in need and who are suffering. You have been blessed with the ability to be a good friend to those who need a good friend. You will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many because of the example that you will be to them in faith. As you exercise your faith in the atonement of your Savior, the Spirit of the Lord will rest upon you and enlighten your countenance with beauty and with hope in the eyes of those who need hope. *****, this is an important responsibility and blessing that the Lord will give to you, so it is important that you are diligent in preparing that you may be ready to bless the lives of those who are in need. The Lord will bless your life further with patience as it is learned through trial. But as you learn to love your Savior and understand his atonement and His will for you, you will be blessed continually with the strength you will need to overcome all things. By submitting continually to the will of the Lord, you will not only learn patience but you will learn understanding, and with understanding obtain peace. I bless you that through your faith you will have the power to resist the sophistries of the adversary and avoid the distractions of the world that would seek to move you away from places of safety.

*****, when the appropriate time comes, you will have the great blessing of receiving eternal blessings in the house of the Lord. I bless you that the Spirit of Elijah will rest upon you and upon your household that you may eagerly accept the responsibility of helping those members of your family that have gone on before you. As you serve them in the Lord's house, your days will be lengthened and your body strengthened to be able to do the work that will be required of you. In doing this work there will be many of your family who will see you as a savior to them for the sacrifice in the work that you will do on their behalf.

*****, because of your faith and your continued desire to do the Lord's will in doing that which is right in keeping yourself clean and pure the Lord will bless you with the companionship of a faithful son of your Heavenly Father. Together you will be sealed in the house of the Lord and will enjoy the blessing of receiving into your family special spirits, special children of your Heavenly Father who are dear to Him. And this will be because of your faith and diligence. The Lord will trust you to do as has been done for you; to teach them the truth, to help them learn to love their Savior and their Heavenly Father so that they also may be able to return once again into their presence. You will be blessed with the ability and strength to be a righteous mother in Zion. Through your study and faith the Lord will enlighten your mind and help you to understand your children that you may best know how to guide them in love and patience. You will be blessed also because of your study, prayer, and faith to maintain a home of righteousness and of peace, a home of beauty and of prayer, a home that will be a refuge from the ills the world. Though you will be very familiar with the contentions that will be found outside your home, I bless you that because of your faith and that of your husband, you will have the power to resist the influences of the world that would seek to intrude upon the spirit you will be able to maintain in your home. Trust in the Lord in all things. Never fail in your faith. Have confidence and courage in your reliance upon the Lord and He will bless you and strengthen you even unto the end.

*****, I bless you further that you may come to understand the benefit and blessing that it will be to you and to your family to take advantage of opportunities to educate yourself. I bless you that in your education you may be able to perceive the truth and separate the truth from that which is misunderstood and of little worth. I bless you that as you allow the Spirit of the Lord to guide and direct you, you will be able to choose those courses of study throughout your life that will best benefit and ennoble you and also benefit your family. Through this training, you will also be better prepared to serve in the Lord's kingdom and bless the lives of many.

*****, when the time comes that your Heavenly Father requires you to return again into His presence, I bless you that this transition will be one of peace to you because you will have the blessing of being able to know that by your faith and diligence you have done all that your Father in Heaven has required of you. You will know that you will have left your family in safety, even as you return again into the loving arms of your Heavenly Father and your Savior in safety. There you will reunite with your family in love. They will rejoice at your coming because they also will know that you have done what your Father in Heaven has required of you and have returned to them in happiness, in joy, and in glory. To this end ***** I bless you with the power to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, crowned with glory, immortality, and eternal lives.
