Beloved Sister - In the name of Almighty God and by the authority of the Holy Priesthood I lay my hands upon your head to seal and confirm a father's blessing upon you praying that the choicest of Heaven's blessings may rest upon thee that thy days may be lengthened out and thy health to continue, thy faith and courage increase that no evil spirit may destroy thee or thy domestic enjoyments, for the Lord dear Sister has preserved thee by his peculiar providence to the present time and because of the honesty and integrity of thy heart, that integrity of soul which like the unwearied sun pursues its course unchanged, so thy spirit in deep meditation has reflected upon many things, but the love and affections thou hast had for thy companion has given thee strength to stand firm and unshaken as if built upon the rock of ages. Yet because of thy youth and inexperience thy mind sometimes becomes fearful, thy spirit unbelieving, but as age and experience comes on thou shalt be more stable in thy ways and no power under heaven can change thy course. It is now appointed unto thee to stand as a ministering angel to thy husband to be unto him a comforter when his soul is wearied and faint, to abide his instructions that thy glory may never fail, and when thy soul is bowed down in sorrow and grief some kind messenger shall administer to thee and to thy relief, and he who is thy companion shall be thy Redeemer and thy Savior. So be faithful dear sister. Put away all doubts and fears and trust in God, and by faith call on him who is mighty to save and he shall protect thee and raise thee up from deep trouble. Thy name shall be remembered down to many generations and thy glory shall be seen of the daughters of Abraham, for with the household of faith thou shalt be numbered, not as a foreigner or a stranger but a fellow heir and citizen of that house, and in the own due time of the Lord a greater fullness of the Gospel shall be made known unto thee, and with the blood of the Royal Stock shalt thy lineage be counted, even of the household of Joseph, and even when old age comes on, thy days shall yet be made glorious, and as a comforter thou shalt prove to thy father's house, and thy soul shall yet live, and thy spirit freed from the bondage of this world shall inherit eternal life, and not one whit of this blessing shall fail, but shall all be fulfilled upon thy head, for I seal it upon thee, even a blessing of a never fading glory in the presence of the saints for ever, in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
