As an ordained patriarch in the Melchizedek priesthood, I place my hands upon your head, give unto you a patriarchal blessing and declare your lineage in the House of Israel.

In your preparation for coming to this earth you were taught for a long period of time in preparation. You were concerned about the agency that our Father had presented through his son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You were concerned that the plan of Lucifer did not include agency. Your question, for those who were inclined to follow the plan of Lucifer, was that if you were to be saved it would be to what would you be saved? As you asked these questions you received the answers for which you were inquiring and were assigned to be taught and to teach those who were to come to this earth. Much of this teaching was to be done by some of those who were to come to this earth through the House of Israel. You were excited about coming here and you were anxious to be here to proceed with those things that the Lord had planned for you. Your choice to be here would be at this time when the gospel would be here in its fullness to enable you to do for yourself those things necessary to have exaltation and an eternal family. You have been watched over and guided to where you would have the blessing of finding the true church of Jesus Christ.

Because of your faithfulness the lineage through which you would come to this earth would be that of Ephraim. The responsibilities of Ephraim include helping to prepare the world for the second coming of the Savior and to help in the gathering of Israel. Israel will be encouraged to build temples where they may provide for themselves and their forefathers the necessary ordinances to gain exaltation.

Search out your own forefathers and learn who they were and what they had accomplished. Attend the temple and prepare the blessings for those who are waiting for these things to be done. You will be able, on occasion, to feel of the spirits of those who have anxiously waited for such a long time. When you meet them they will express their love and gratitude for what you have done. Involve yourself in and enjoy this work. Share it with your family and have them learn of these precious experiences. You will be grateful to see the eternal families that you have made possible. As you pass by the angels who have been places as sentinels and approach the Savior you will be able to report your stewardship to him and renew your association with him. As you remember the things that you shared you will be excited about having completed your mortal experience and be able to proceed with those things that are planned for the future.

You will enjoy the experience of learning under the direction of the kind of teachers you will have. You will learn how to organize matter and to form earths upon which you will be able to place your posterity and observe the progression that they make.

You will enjoy establishing a home to which our Father in Heaven would be pleased to send his spirit offspring. You will be able to teach them and to share with them the gospel. Your example will be a precious tool in encouraging them and helping them to enjoy the happiness that comes in sharing with and serving others. You will be able to teach them to listen to the Spirit so that they too will enjoy the protection and knowledge that come.

As you teach you will appreciate the blessing that it is to have the Spirit give to you, after you have carefully prepared, the pure knowledge that will flow to you. You will be able to select from this information those things that you should share as you will receive it rapidly. It will not be necessary for you to rush through this information as you will share only those things that the Spirit intends. Teaching will be enjoyable for you.

You will enjoy working with others in responsibilities of administration. You will receive the vision of the work and be able to share it. You will see the light of the gospel come into their eyes and appreciate the happiness that comes as they improve their lives.

In organizing your home; let it be a place where you will love serving your family and where they will be grateful to participate. You will find that you will have children that you will enjoy and like as well as love. It will be a precious experience for you and you will enjoy working with your companion and teaching them to accomplish the things that you would like for them. You will be able to help them to accomplish the blessings necessary to enable them to serve missions, develop their talents, be well educated and accomplish the things that will enable them to be assets in the kingdom of our Father in Heaven.

Be thankful in serving and in responsibilities and enjoy the Spirit working for you. With your companion you will enjoy associating with those who are knowledgeable in the gospel. They will be pleased to teach you about the gospel, scriptures and how the affairs of the church are managed. You will appreciate associating with and learning from them.

It will be a pleasure for you to share with others the things that you learn as you study the scriptures. Listen to the Spirit, ponder and pray and you will, in many cases, be able to direct the minds of those you teach to visualize the things that are transpiring in the scriptures.

You will appreciate working with those who are more mature. You will be able to listen to them and to have their love. They will desire to be with you and to share with you who they are and their accomplishments. You will be able to bless them with comfort and peace of mind.

Appreciate working with and around others in the gospel. The young people will be especially precious to you. Enjoy sharing with them. You will appreciate their love and the peace of mind that you receive in seeing that they are following the plan of our Father in Heaven. You will have opportunities to influence them and help them to become assets in the gospel.

Your mind will be alert and learn quickly. You will be able to function well. Your independent spirit will lead you to accomplish those things that our Father has prepared for you.

The Lord knows who you are and has placed you here at this time to accomplish all of the things that he intends. He has prepared the way before you and given his angels charge to watch over you in the event that anything would occur that would require that you be warned or protected. Learn to listen to and enjoy the Spirit.

These blessings are yours through your faith and your faithfulness.
