My Lovely Young Sister *****: According to the Holy Patriarchal order and by and through the Priesthood that I bear and in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, whose servant I am, I humbly place my hands upon your head and seal upon you a Patriarchal blessing.

Evidenced by the blessings that fill your life now and many that will yet come, you are to be one of the noble participants of your generation to prepare the events, to participate in the sacred plans, to bring to fruition the Millennium. You will be expected to pass through trial and tribulation which will tear at your very heartstrings, but because of your valiant pre-mortal life added to your effort, faithfulness and devotion which you now express, you will be preserved and blessed in every way. The power of ministering angels, unseen but real, will come and assist you, to lift, bless, and help you in the most sacred opportunity. I bless you that you will have health and strength, that you will be spiritually preserved, that you will continue to be steadfast in the determination to receive this special blessing. I admonish you to constantly let your heart be drawn out in prayer to your Heavenly Father. Be receptive to the promptings from on high. These quiet times will be the special times when the assurance that you need will come. I bless you with a special insight and reward, because of your faithfulness, that the mysteries of godliness shall be manifest to you. These hidden things will be made known because of your diligent effort and that special insightfulness which you may enjoy. Yours is that choice generation spoken of by the prophets. Because of your faithfulness you have been sent, with the fore-knowledge of our Father in Heaven, that you would be valiant in every way.

You are a descendant of Ephraim through Joseph. This is a part of that special birth-right blessing which is yours. You shall have the privilege of becoming acquainted with that great prophet-patriarch Joseph, who stands as one of the noble prophets of all times. It will be your privilege to bear testimony of his heir and offspring who bears his name, the prophet of the restoration, even the Prophet Joseph. It will be your privilege to labor in the organizations of the Church and in so doing bring comfort and testimony to others. You will be able to do this in a quiet, dignified way. It will be your privilege to be the means of bringing comfort and security to many others through your faithfulness and pure testimony.

It is your privilege to be a wife and mother in Zion. This is your highest ideal and greatest opportunity. Teach those simple truths to your posterity. There are noble spirits awaiting the privilege to call you mother. I, therefore, seal upon you the promise that you may have a righteous priesthood mate. In due season he will seek our out and claim you as his own. Together you may build your own little kingdom and begin anew and perpetuate the blessing of eternal life.

I admonish you also to reciprocate the love which you receive from your father and mother. They will look to you as the example that you now are in the reclining years. They will call you blessed because of your faithfulness and obedience.

I seal upon you the promise that these blessings are yours of a surety through your faithfulness and obedience. It will be your sacred privilege, after fulfilling all the requirements of mortality, to rise in the morning of the first resurrection with all of the attendant blessings. These blessings are sealed upon you in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, Amen.
