*****, in the name of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood that I hold, and by virtue of my calling as a Patriarch in the _____ Stake, I lay my hands upon your head and confer upon you, your Patriarchal Blessing. *****, I bless you at this time that you will be aware of the love of your Heavenly Father and recognize that He is pleased with your desire to receive this blessing and to become aware of those things that He would have you take note of and to implement within your life. I bless you that you will appreciate the need to read your blessing on a regular basis, so that you may glean from it those things that will help you to recognize those things that your Heavenly Father would have you do. I bless you that you will also appreciate the need to be prayerful, so that as you read and ponder upon these things, you may be able to feel the Spirit and know those things that you will need to do within your life. I bless you that you will appreciate that your heavenly Father will share these things with you and that He will make them known to you at the appropriate times during your life, so that you may be able to accomplish those things that He sees you stand in need of. I bless you that you will also appreciate the need to live and to keep the commandments of your Heavenly Father, so that you may be worthy at all times to receive these blessings and to achieve those things that will allow you to return to live with Him once more.

I bless you now that you will appreciate the need to concentrate upon those things that will keep you close to your Heavenly Father. Recognize the need to read and ponder and pray over the Scriptures, so that as you study these things, you will gain the knowledge and have come into your heart and mind, those things that will allow you to receive guidance and direction throughout your life. I bless you that in this manner, you will be able to receive answers to those things that may become the concerns of your heart and mind, so that you may be able to receive the understanding that will be needful for you. In this manner, you will be able to see the paths that you should tread and know those things that you will need to do in order to accomplish the things that your Heavenly Father would have you do. I bless you that you will be conscious of the need to follow the example of your Saviour, and recognize the need to do this, so that within your own life you will be able to gain the attributes that He has and so prepare yourself to return to live with Him and your Heavenly Father. I bless you that you will also appreciate the Atonement and sacrifice that He has made on your behalf, and continue to live your life worthily, so that as you repent of any thing that you may do that is not pleasing in His sight, these things may be taken from you and you may receive the peace and the comfort that will be necessary. In this manner you will be able to recognize that your Heavenly Father loves you and desires for you to return to live with Him once more.

I bless you now that you will appreciate that you have been blessed with gifts and talents and that you will be able to use these in being of service to others. I bless you that you will appreciate the gift of faith and the need to exercise this gift throughout your life, so that you may be in tune with the Spirit and be able to recognize those things that you will need to do to accomplish the tasks and responsibilities that will be given to you. I bless you that you will be strong in this regard and continue to call upon your Heavenly Father to allow you to have the strength and the ability to stay with those things that you know and understand are necessary for you to be obedient to the principles and ordinances of the Gospel. I bless you that you will also appreciate the ability to have your testimony grow and strengthen, as you take the opportunity to share it with others. Never be afraid to share the thoughts and feelings that you have within your heart, so that at the appropriate times you may be able to have an influence upon others and allow them to come to the same knowledge and understanding that you have. I bless you that you will also be prepared to use your hands to do those things that will be required of you, and to use your talents in this area to help support and to sustain you. In this manner you will also be able to help others in a manner that will be pleasing in the sight of your Heavenly Father. I bless you that you will strive diligently to use the gifts and talents that you have in providing service to others in being able to serve your Heavenly Father. Strive always to learn and to understand those things that your Heavenly Father has blessed you with and develop these gifts and talents, so that your Heavenly Father may use you in the manner that He intends.

I bless you that you will appreciate the need within your life to be constant in keeping the commandments of your Heavenly Father. Continue to live the Law of Chastity and always be conscious of the need to have a clean tabernacle, so that the Spirit may dwell within it. In this manner you will then be worthy to receive the prompting of the Holy Spirit and know those things that will be needful for you to do. I bless you that you will also appreciate the need to live the Word of Wisdom and to be strong in this regard, by not taking into your body any thing that would be harmful. Remember to keep this commandment as it is contained within the Doctrine and Covenants. I bless you that you will also appreciate the need to keep the Law of Tithing and be prepared to give to your Heavenly Father that part of your sustenance that He is entitled to receive. I promise you that as you do this throughout your life, you will never want for the necessities of life, as your Heavenly Father will pour upon you the blessings of Heaven and you will always have more than you will be able to use. I bless you that as you live and keep His commandments and continue to do those things that your Heavenly Father desires of you, that you will have the opportunity to attend the House of the Lord and to receive your endowments. Take the time to contemplate and to prepare yourself in this regard, so that you may appreciate the blessings that await you there. Prepare yourself to receive these blessings, so that you may have the opportunity to return to live with your Heavenly Father in the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom.

I bless you also that you will have the opportunity as you live your life worthily, to be married within the temple and there receive the fullness of the blessings that you are entitled to receive. Be conscious of the need to make sure that you choose an eternal companion who will not only love and honour and respect you, but that will be prepared to lead and guide you and your family to return to live with your Heavenly Father in the Celestial Kingdom. Take the time to confirm the choices and decisions that you feel to make so that you Heavenly Father may be able to cause the Spirit to burn within you, and allow you to know that these are the right choices and decisions. I bless you that you will also appreciate the responsibility that will be yours as a parent in Zion to teach your children and to instill upon them the principles of the Gospel. Take this responsibility seriously and I promise you that as you do this, your life will be blessed in such a way that you will gain joy from your posterity.

I bless you now that you will appreciate the need to continue to be of service to your Heavenly Father, and that He will bless you with the opportunity to be of service in many callings and responsibilities within the Church. I bless that you will understand that through these callings and responsibilities, you will learn to appreciate more fully the love of your Heavenly Father and the need that you have to give of yourself and to share the love that you have with those that you will work with. I bless you that you will accept these responsibilities and callings with a glad and willing heart, so that as you fulfill them you will be able to grow from them. I bless you that you will also appreciate that as you continue to do those things that your Heavenly Father expects of you, that your life will be sweet to you. In this manner as you grow and progress, you will be able to watch your family around you share in the blessings that you have been able to enjoy. I bless you now that as you are obedient to your Heavenly Father you will be able to accomplish all that will be necessary for you and so be able to earn the right to return to live with your Heavenly Father and your family in the Celestial Kingdom.

I bless you that you will also appreciate that many of these blessings will be yours because of the lineage that is your in belonging to the tribe of Ephraim. Recognize that this is also a special blessing, in that you have the responsibility to teach and to give instruction to the children of Israel. Remember this constantly throughout your life and take the time to prepare lessons and to counsel with your Heavenly Father in relation to those things that you should share with others, so that He may use you to reach out and to touch the lives of others. I bless you now to this end and seal these blessings upon you. I seal you up to come forward in the morning of the First Resurrection, with a peace and satisfaction that because of the things that you have done and the obedience that you have shown to your Heavenly Father in keeping His commandments, you will be able to receive the blessing of being able to return to live with Him and your Saviour in the Celestial Kingdom, and this I do in the name of our Lord and our Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen.
