Brother *****, I lay my hands upon your head and in the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood I pronounce upon you a blessing that shall be according to your faith and your desire. And I pray God, that He will direct the words that I may say that you may receive the desire of your heart in righteousness, for every good desire cometh from God and every evil desire cometh of the evil one. Therefore, listen to the still small voice, the Gift of the Holy Ghost which was conferred upon you at your baptism and it will be a blessing and a guide to you throughout your life. It will show you things past, present, and things to come and reveal unto you the mysteries of godliness, in so much, that you will be numbered among God's servants to help to bring about His purposes on earth.
You are a child of Abraham coming through the loins of Ephraim and of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. They made their calling and election sure and yours shall be sure if you will but heed and listen unto the counsel of the servants of God and follow their instruction. And they are placed on earth to lead, guide, and direct His Saints and you are numbered among them, having had the privilege of coming in this day and age of the world according to your own free will and choice.
You did promise in the spirit world, in your pre-mortal existence, that you would come upon earth and work out your salvation and work for the salvation and blessing of others whom you come in contact with. Angels sang for joy at your parting from the spirit world then your spirit centered this body and now you are able to comprehend, understand, and know the things of God through your right living. If you will prepare yourself, positions of trust and responsibility will be thrust upon you that will make of you a man of God in very deed to accomplish good in your day and time.
If you will magnify your callings as they come to you in the holy Priesthood which you have already received more light, more Priesthood, and positions of trust shall be given unto you and will prepare you if you will endeavor to work works of righteousness and do good and noble deeds. Your example will be such that you will become a leader in Israel if you will but be a good follower, follow after righteousness, follow the counsel and the instruction of your parents in righteousness and the servants of God then paths of truth and righteousness will be made known unto you and you will follow them.
You will be able to shun the very appearance of evil if you will keep humble by prayer and by the spirit of repentance, and if you have said or done things that have been displeasing in the sight of the Lord in the past repent and He will forgive you. Never profane the name of the Deity, keep the Word of Wisdom strictly, and keep yourself clean and unspotted from the sins of the world. Cultivate virtue and never give way to the lusts of the flesh, if you do they will drag you downward and you will be left to grope in the dark, for the spirit of the Lord will be withdrawn from those who are vile and live unbecoming lives.
If you have a desire to preach righteousness and will pray unto the Lord for strength you shall have the privilege of going into the world as an ambassador of truth to preach righteousness unto an unbelieving world, and you will be able to make plain unto others the principles of the Gospel. The sick shall be healed at your touch and you will see the miraculous power of all mighty God, in so much, that cities and nations will be destroyed because of their wickedness and their failure to accept your message in connection with the message of God's servants. You will see the Saints exalted and saved and blessed because of their righteousness.
Thank the Lord that you have been permitted to come in this day and age when His Gospel has been restored and that you have received power and the right to officiate in His name, then you will have joy and rejoicing. Wherever you are, set an example worthy of imitation before all those whom you come in contact with that they will follow your example and you will be the means of making better men and better women by your example. Study the scriptures for in them are the things of God and with a prayerful heart you will be able to comprehend and understand the mysteries of godliness. They will be made plain unto you and will prepare the way before you, whereby, you shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and with the holy prophets in the last day. You shall be crowned as a prince of peace, an heir of righteousness to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection.
Because of your nobility, your righteousness, and your purity of heart you shall see God and be bidden to sit on His right hand and be numbered among His noble ones. For He has promised that the pure in heart shall see Him, therefore, keep your mind pure and holy and never violate your covenants. If you should slip and fall by the wayside by doing wrong get up with courage and pray for forgiveness then He will forgive. For he has promised that He will forgive all men their trespasses if they will repent. These with every blessing that is necessary for your good and benefit I pronounce upon you in the name of Jesus Christ they are yours through your faithfulness, Amen.
