Brother Oliver Carlos Stevens, in the Name of Jesus Christ and by virtue of the Holy Priesthood in me vested, I lay my hands upon your head and confer upon you a Patriarchal and a Father's blessing. And I say unto you, thou art of Ephraim, born of goodly parents who rejoiced in the coming of the gospel of Jesus Christ and you were one of those noble sons of our Father who took part in the councils of Heaven and did rejoice because of your privilege to come upon the earth in a gospel dispensation. And you did rejoice also with your companion for she was one of those known as one of the morning stars and upon the earth you did select her through inspiration and your hearts and souls do blend together as those who love the Lord. Your name is held as a common judge in Israel and it is your duty and your privilege to council among your brethren and to aid and assist in preparing the people for the coming of the Lord. You have much to do in the earth for it shall be your duty to feed the hungry and to clothe the naked. And you shall be a father to the fatherless and the Lord will provide you with the blessings and comforts of this life and your table will be spread with plenty. Therefore dear brother, seek ye the Lord in the humility of your heart by faith and prayer and He will make known unto you many things that will be for your good both temporally as well as spiritually. You shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover for the Lord will honor your Priesthood. You shall see wonderful changes in the earth for the Lord has set His hand to gather Israel and you shall see signs in the heavens and wonders in the earth beneath and the fulfilling of prophecy, now I say unto you, Dear Brother, cultivate a cheerful disposition for it will avail you much among the people. And I pray our Father that He will touch you with His holy Spirit that you may have a perfect grasp of the truths of the gospel. That you may be equal to every task that may be placed upon you and that you may be charitable and kind in all your outgoings and incomings.

And I seal these blessings upon you with Eternal life to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection crowned as a king over your posterity. Through your faithfulness in keeping the commandments of the Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ our Redeemer, Amen.
