Brother Paul Kalmar Nielsen you have asked for a Patriarchal blessing and I lay my hands upon your head in response to your desire to confer the same upon you: And you shall be blessed both in your body and in your mind with strength and vitality.

In your home, in traveling abroad or wherever you may be the angels of Heaven shall be your constant companions, warding off the influences of wicked and evil spirits; also sickness and disease of every name and nature. And if you are faithful to the truth which you have espoused you will never be left without their companionship and administrations in traveling upon the land and on the water to perform missionary labor to which you will be called in due time assisted by these ministering angels. You shall have power over every element of destruction and when you command the winds and waves shall obey you. As a missionary from Zion you will be very successful and will baptize many and bring them home with their gold and silver and their precious things in great abundance to beautify the Zion of our God.

You are entitled to the authority of the Holy Melchizedek Priesthood because of you ancestry through whom this blessing comes to you, for unbeknownst to you even that of Ephraim this Royal blood has been coursing through your veins and you shall be recognized as being worthy through your faithfulness to exercise the authority and perform many of the various functions belonging to this Holy Priesthood.

If you desire it you shall live to see the temple of our God erected upon the sacred spot in Jackson County Mo. And therein you shall receive heavenly instructions and witness the wonderful manifestations of God to his servants and shall feel the presence of Holy Angels in that sacred place.

Your posterity shall be very numerous and extend their dominions to many parts of earth and these shall bring to you honor and renown.

The gift of healing is yours and through your faith and prayers and the administration of the Holy ordinances you shall witness wonderful manifestations of God's power in healing the sick.

This is your blessing and I seal it upon you and seal you up to come forth in the resurrection of the just to receive every blessing pertaining and belonging to the Celestial Kingdom, Even so Amen.
