If you will walk circumspectly before the Lord in faithfulness and obedience, you will become worthy of the greatest gift Heavenly Father has to bestow upon His children, even exaltation and eternal life in His Celestial Kingdom. It is truly a blessing with eternal perspective. I counsel you to keep it close to you and review it from time to time. It should give you hope for the future. Let it be a guiding light in your life.
*****, you stood among those who shouted for joy when learning of the marvelous opportunity you would have of coming to the earth. In that premortal realm you sustained and supported your Elder Brother, the Savior. The Lord is pleased because that desire resides deep within your heart today. You were held back to come to the earth again with power and great glory. It is truly a marvelous time when the Lord with His everlasting love and understanding is gathering His elect from all corners of the earth and preparing this people for His second coming.
*****, your life is labeled with distinction and as a son of Israel, even a descendant of Ephraim, you will be heir to all of the marvelous blessings promised to our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I counsel you to secure these blessings by purifying your heart and by placing and keeping your life in complete harmony with the Lord's divine plan of happiness.
The Lord is pleased that you have a desire to go on His errand and be a full time missionary. You will go into the mission field with a fervent desire to serve the Lord with all your heart, might, mind and strength. As you have prepared well, the things you should do and say in the mission field will be signalized to you by the peace and power of the Holy Spirit. You will readily make friends. You will have the ability to explain the beautiful principles of the gospel with clarity and conviction. There are those who are being prepared for your coming now. *****, the ability you gain in the mission field to recognize and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit will be a great blessing for you throughout your life.
I counsel you to be humble and prayerful as you continue to prepare for your future life. You will be guided and directed in school to select those courses that will best enhance and develop the gifts, talents and abilities with which you have been endowed. Always spend the time necessary to completely understand the principles at hand. Spend extra time, if necessary. Then you will be successful in learning and retaining the information that will be invaluable for you in your future life.
*****, you will have the privilege of standing and kneeling in holy places and in partaking of the Holy Spirit of the Lord in its fullness as you enter into the new and everlasting covenant of eternal marriage with the lovely young lady of your choosing in the holy temple. Your eternal companion will be a great inspiration and helpmate to you. As you each strive to set up your new home, to do what is right, to invite the Holy Spirit of the Lord to be there, you will enjoy the fruits of the Holy Spirit as defined by the apostle Paul, even love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. *****, one of the greatest joys you will know in this world will be that of being father to the special children Heavenly Father will entrust to you. You will have such a sacred charge, receiving those little ones who come from the presence of our Heavenly Father. You must let your companion and children know always that they are loved unconditionally. Use the scriptures in teaching them. Bear your testimony to them and let them know how you feel about the Lord's work here upon the earth. If you will do this they will gain conviction and testimony for themselves of the truthfulness of the gospel. Your children will know the joys of living in a happy home.
You will use the holy priesthood to lead and bless your family and to assist and help many others. You will lead out in the priesthood quorums. You will love to be with the young people. You will be a great teacher among them. They will have faith and confidence in you. You will give advice and counsel to your peers. There will be many opportunities for you to assist those who have broken bodies and to help those who have become confused and seem to be lost. You will help them come to realize that the only way they will come to know true joy and happiness in this world is through being obedient to the Lord's commandments.
As you continue to live the principles of the gospel, including the word of wisdom, you will be blessed in health and strength. Your body will be strong to serve you well, even into your older years.
Your testimony will grow and become stronger in accordance with your faith, works and desires. *****, the beauties and majesty of this marvelous world in which we live will become a greater testimony to you of our loving Heavenly Father and the Savior.
Do not be guilty of that grievous sin of ingratitude. It is important that you thank your Heavenly Father and your earthly parents for the many, many blessings you enjoy in your life. The Holy Ghost desires to be your constant companion. If you are humble and desire to do what is right before the Lord, I promise you that He will be with you. He will be there to comfort, teach, inspire, help you overcome discouragement, to protect and to literally help you accomplish the righteous desires of your heart.
*****, when you complete your mission here upon the earth, you will come forth in the morning of the first resurrection clothed with glory, honor and immortality. As you and your eternal companion continue true and faithful, enduring to the end, you will eventually be together, standing as king and queen at the head of your posterity and with your ancestors in the Celestial Kingdom of our Heavenly Father. *****, you must always remember the days of this life are the time you have to prepare to go back into Heavenly Father's presence.
