Brother George Washington, I lay my hands upon your head in the name of Jesus of Nazareth to place upon your head a father's blessing. Thou art a descendant of Ephraim and art entitled to the Priesthood of Abraham and Jacob which was conferred upon their posterity which has come down through the lineage of the fathers even unto thee, which will be conferred upon thy posterity which shall be numerous on the Earth. The fruits of the Earth also shall be given unto thee because thou hast been faithful in the everlasting gospel. Thou hast had some trials and some afflictions. Thou hast been brought thus far through and hast not faltered. Thou hast desired in thy heart that thou mightest do honour to the everlasting gospel and the holy priesthood, and inasmuch as thou art faithful thou shalt endure and in thy nigher years thou shalt have many manifestations of the holy spirit unto thee to direct thee at all times. Wisdom also shall be given unto thee from above, which shall be a comfort and a consolation unto thee, which shall be able to overcome all difficulties and trials hereafter. By the holy priesthood vested in me I seal all these blessings upon thy head together with all former blessings that thou hast received through the holy priesthood, and in the name of Jesus Christ I seal thee up unto eternal life.
