Sister *****, by the power and the authority of the holy Melchizedek Priesthood and in the name of the lord Jesus Christ, I lay my hands upon your head as a patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to give unto you, according to your desire, your patriarchal blessing.

*****, our Father in Heaven is pleased that you have made this decision to receive your patriarchal blessing that will act as a guide and a director unto you and will give you, in part, His mind and will concerning your life. Our Father in Heaven has a great love for you, He knows you, He knows you by name, He knows your heart and your mind and your desire to serve Him. Through His love our Father has in reserve great and marvelous blessings for you. He has blessed you to come into the earth at a very special time. Our Father considers you one of His choice daughters, one who will be obedient and faithful and who will serve Him and love Him and His Son and come to understand who they are and what they have accomplished for you in your life. He has blessed you to come at this special time because you are special and our Father has reserved those who are strong and faithful and obedient to come into the earth at this time. This is a difficult time, but it is a marvelous time to live. There are great difficulties and problems in the earth and our Father in His infinite wisdom has reserved to come into the earth those spirits who are special and who are strong and who will resist temptation and evil and who can find out who they are and what they must do in service to Him. You have been blessed to live in this dispensation to enjoy the fullness of the gospel, membership in the Church and the blessings that come from the priesthood. You have been blessed to have been born to parents who love you and who pray for you and who would have you succeed in those things you do in righteousness. You have been blessed to live in a land choice above all other lands raised up for the specific purpose of the restoration and to give unto you the freedoms necessary to worship and serve our Father in Heaven in accordance to the dictates of your conscience. Be grateful for these blessings and all others you have received to this point in your life and know that our Father has yet in reserve great and marvelous blessings to give unto you during the rest of your mortal life and, even, into the eternities.

Choice opportunities will come unto you to serve in the Church and kingdom of our Father in Heaven. Calls will come from those who bear the priesthood, but you must understand that those calls come from our Father in Heaven. You have been sent into the earth to learn service and obedience and it is therefore imperative that you serve as called and that you honor the calls that come and seek the mind and will of our Father in Heaven relative to those calls and to dedicate your life to accomplish the tasks that are presented to you. You shall have opportunities to serve youth and children and to teach the principles of the gospel to those who are in need of understanding and, even, to counsel those who are in need of counsel. Be grateful for these opportunities that come to you and serve to the best of your ability.

Through our Father’s love you have been blessed with special gifts of the Spirit. You have been blessed with the gift of know that Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer and He to whom you must look for salvation and eternal life. You are blessed with the gift of testimony and will bear a powerful and fervent testimony of those things you know to be true. You are blessed with the gift of wisdom and knowledge and will receive marvelous blessings and through this gift as you study and ponder those things that are important to you. You are blessed with the gift of service and will experience joy and happiness as you serve. You are blessed with the gift to believe on the testimonies of others, especially, the testimonies of the living prophets. You are blessed with the gift of love and as you share your love with those about you you shall feel their love returned. Be grateful for these gifts of the Spirit and recognize from whence they come and develop them in your life and seek for all gifts of the Spirit.

*****, you are heir to all the blessings and promises given unto Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by our Father in Heaven. You are a descendant of Ephraim and will receive the blessings given unto his descendants in this day. His descendants have been given the fullness of the gospel and the responsibility of carrying the truthfulness of the gospel throughout the earth. If you will live an exemplary life and let your light be seen by those who are not members of the church with whom you associate they shall see in you a difference and will have a desire to know of that difference and opportunities will come for them to be taught the principles of the gospel and the plan of salvation. You must understand that you have a responsibility to the missionary effort of the church to encourage those with whom you associate throughout your life to serve as missionaries that the gospel can go forth and fill the earth. As you study the scriptures come to understand the blessings and promises given unto these patriarchs and know that those same blessings are yours through our faithfulness.

Be grateful for the scriptures and recognize the importance of the scriptures in your life. If you will daily study and ponder and pray about he scriptures your mind will be opened and you will receive revelation and will understand those things in the scriptures that apply to your daily life. You shall become an instrument in the hands of our Father in Heaven to bless others with understanding as you teach and as you understand the scriptures. Study the life of the Savior and pattern your life after His instruction, draw close unto Him and you shall hear His voice and shall feel His influence. Study the Book of Mormon, that great witness that Jesus is the Christ and live by the principles and the precepts to be found therein and use that book as you seek for answers to questions and solutions to problems. Recognize that book as a gift from our Father in Heaven and a blessing in your life. Listen carefully to the teachings and the instructions form the living prophets for their teachings are as important unto you as the written scriptures.

Our Father in Heaven would have you study faithfully and prayerfully good and uplifting literature to quicken your mind and your intellect and to seek for wisdom and true principles to apply to your life. Study those things that are important to you and those things you desire to understand. Study things pertaining to the earth, those things above and beneath and of the conditions in the earth, study histories, the lives of great men and women and as you study seek always for a better understanding of the work our Father in Heaven has established in the earth. All that you learn in this life will be with you throughout the eternities and will bring great and eternal blessings unto you. As you study you will feel the influence of the gift of wisdom and knowledge that is yours and understanding will come to you.

The time will come when through purity in your life and proper preparation you shall enter into the House of the Lord to take upon yourself sacred covenants and obligations and to learn those things you must know to return to our Father in Heaven. As you serve in the temples it shall become unto you a house of prayer, a house of learning and house revelation. As you serve there you will be blessing the eternal lives of those who look to us here for blessings they cannot obtain for themselves and if you are conscious of them and more particularly your progenitors and be involved in preparing information pertaining to them that you and others may enter into the House of the Lord to bless their eternal lives the time will come when they shall embrace you and tell you of their love and through this great opportunity for service you will become in deed a savior in Mt. Zion. You shall ultimately be sealed to a faithful and virtuous young man now being prepared as your eternal companion and you shall be sealed under the hands of the priesthood for time and all eternity and to that sacred union there shall come children for you to bless with testimonies and with an understanding of who they are and what they must accomplish in their lives. If you will serve your children and in your home with love and compassion and kindness and patience and by setting a proper example you shall rear a righteous posterity.

Keep yourself pure and clean and unspotted from the sins of the world. Avoid sin. Avoid, even, the appearance of sin and live faithfully the laws of chastity and morality. Our Father will bless you with a way to escape every temptation that comes if you will live and pray for that blessing in your life.

Make prayer a part of your daily life by kneeling before our Father in Heaven in private and with your family and seek at his hands the blessings you fell you need and express your love and gratitude for blessings received. As you pray you shall hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit who will teach you those things you must know and do and will reveal to your mind sacred truths.

Be grateful for your parents and love them and honor them that your days may be long in the earth and honor your heritage and understand your heritage and live worth of your heritage and the legacy that is yours.

I bless you with all the blessings that our Father has in reserve for you. I bless you with dedication and consecration to Him and to His Son. I bless you with peace in this world and eternal life in the world to come. I bless you with the attributes you must possess that you can serve others to influence them for good and that through your service you can ultimately present yourself before our Father in Heaven with clean hands and a pure heart and receive from Him at that very sacred time choice eternal blessings. I bless you to be on the earth at the time when the Savior comes and to serve as called to recognize the opportunity that will come to those who live at that time for service to prepare all things to give unto the children of Israel the blessings they seek at the hands of our Father in Heaven. I bless you with these and all blessings that our Father in Heaven has for you as one who loves Him and who serves Him and do so in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
