Brother *****, in the name of Jesus Christ, and by the authority of the Holy Priesthood, which I bear, and as an ordained Patriarch in a Stake of Zion, I place my hands upon your head and give you your Patriarchal Blessing. Your blessing is predicated upon how you adhere to the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the goodness that dwells in your heart. You were happy and faithful in the spirit world and you have been reserved for this time. You will use your time, talents and personality to advance the Kingdom of God.

Your father in Heaven has given you Gifts of His Spirit that your life might be enriched and that you might have joy in your heart. You have the gift to be charitable and kind to others. You possess the gift of valor to endure all things and to the end. You have the gift of gratitude in your heart for those who render services to you. You are gifted to use your Priesthood to heal the sick and afflicted. You possess the gift to discern between spirits and to know if they are spirits of God.

You are of the House of Israel through the lineage of Ephraim, Son of Joseph who was sold into Egypt. You will be granted the rights and privileges of this great lineage. You will be expected to help in the gathering of scattered Israel and to help prepare the way for the Second Coming of the Savior, Jesus Christ. You will serve in capacities that have responsibilities of leadership.

You are blessed with talents that will help you along your life's journey. You are blessed with the talent to be observant to the things that occur around you. You have the talent to be organized. You are dependable to associates. You are respectful to others. You have the talent to be an exceptionally good listener.

You will be blessed to be a Father in Zion and fulfill the full measure of your creation. You will have the privilege of parenting and bringing spirits into this world. You will nurture them and aid them in their development and growth. Use your abilities to love, communicate and give guidance and direction to your children. Serve as the center of your family and use your Priesthood in your home.

Your Father in Heaven has blessed you with the desire to overcome temptation. You will resist Satan and He will flee from you. Do not court Satan, for He will consume you. Do not yield to pride, fashion or the vanities of the world. You will denounce the ways of mammon.

You are admonished to develop a Christ-like character. Have righteous thoughts on the stage of your mind, and keep your mind clean of clutter. Your thoughts today will form your character tomorrow. Adhere to the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which will be your iron rod to return to your Heavenly Father.

You will be blessed to be a missionary for Jesus Christ and represent your Savior to the peoples of the world. You will use your communication skills and abilities to engage people in sharing the message of the Gospel. Bear your testimony and people will listen to what you have to say. Your tongue will be loosened to allow your heart to speak. Your efforts will bring families into the Gospel.

There will be great abundance of temporal blessings in your life. These blessings will be yours through your righteousness. You will be blessed with the riches of this world. You are admonished to share your good fortune and resources with the less fortunate. Your measurement of success is not in the things of this world, but in righteousness.

These are your blessings. Your Father in Heaven loves you. He knows you and knows of the goodness that dwells in your heart. He is the source of your many talents and blessings. You have more blessings than most, and you will be held accountable for these gifts. Your Father in Heaven wants you to be happy and to enjoy the beauties of this world. You have been given a wonderful personality. You are blessed with a strong heart and a strong will to do good. I bless you that you will come forth in the Morning of the First Resurrection with the righteous and the just, and I do this in the sacred name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
