My dear Brother ***** at your request on this beautiful Sabbath Day and in the presence of your Beloved Parents I humbly lay my hands upon your head by the Authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood and bestow upon you a Patriarchal Blessing of our Heavenly Father to be a Guide and a Light in your life as you Work your way to the Celestial Kingdom.
Our Heavenly Father is pleased with your life because you were faithful and obedient unto Him in the pre-mortal life. For the life you lived there you received a Reward of coming to this Earth in the Latter-Days the most glorious period of all time. You were given another Gift of being born of righteous Parents who love you and you will always be a Member in the Chain of an Eternal Family. Honor them all your days, follow their counsel and you will avoid mistakes and grow through their wisdom and experiences.
You are a descendant of Joseph who was sold into Egypt and you are A MEMBER OF THE CHOSEN TRIBE OF EPHRAIM with the great responsibility of Leadership in establishing the Kingdom of God upon the Earth. This bestows upon you all the richer blessings of this Tribe through righteous living and the responsibility of serving our Heavenly Father in the Work of the Lord Jesus Christ. You will be called on a Mission to Teach the Gospel so continue to prepare your mind with the Knowledge of the Plan of Life & Salvation. This will greatly help you on a Mission and it will be pleasing unto God. His Hand will be over you and His Holy Spirit will lead you to the honest in heart who are waiting to hear the Truths. If it so be that you are sent to a Nation of another Tongue the Lord will bless you with the Gift of Tongues to quickly learn their language. It will be valuable to you throughout your life.
You are a special Spirit Son of our Heavenly Father, He wants you to succeed in all avenues in life. A Mission will be an added education unto you. Diligently and faithfully serve and you will have many choice spiritual experiences. You will feel the Power of the Holy Ghost, which Gift you have already received, as you exercise this Gift in God's Work. Heed and obey the promptings of the Holy Ghost and He will lead you in righteous Ways, Warn you in time of need and His Power will NEUTRALIZE the power of evil in your life. THESE ARE DANGEROUS DAYS because Satan has unleashed great power in trying to destroy the Work of the Lord. As with all people He will try to discourage you in your mind and have you think that God does not live. Whenever you feel evil near fall on your knees and humbly ask our Heavenly Father for the protection of the Holy Ghost and you will feel His Power encircle you.
Daily study of the Scriptures will enlarge your Soul, increase your Wisdom, help you Solve problems and meet the challenges in life. Remember your personal prayers each morning and evening giving thanks for God's Blessings and seeking the inspiration of His Holy Spirit IN ALL THAT YOU DO. Pray, Study and follow the Pattern of Life the Savior has given to the World all your days and you will be richly blessed and feel nearer to God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
Your Faith will increase day by day. You will be known for your humility of heart and your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Let your Light so Shine before all people that they will be led to greater heights in their search for the Gospel. They will notice your righteousness and humility that will emanate from your being. This will invite people to listen to your words as you explain the Truths, their hearts will be touched and many will accept the Gospel.
Obtain a full education while it is available by your good Parents. Choose a profession that is permanent under inspiration of the Holy Spirit and you will be highly successful and have the finances to rear a Family and to serve the Lord.
The day will come when you will be invited into the Holy Temple of the Lord to receive your Endowment preparatory to serving a Mission. Later you will return to be Sealed to a beautiful Companion who will sustain you in the Work of the Lord. Your Home will be a place of peace to invite the Holy Spirit to abide therein.
As you ponder the Scriptures you will gradually grow in His Work until God will grant unto you the Gift of Knowledge which is very essential to be an effective missionary. This Special Spiritual Gift will bless you on a Mission, in other callings in the Church and in your professional and personal affairs.
Begin today to seek for the First Spiritual Gift revealed in the 46th Section of the Doctrine & Covenants of receiving a personal testimony to know that God lives. When your heart desires and surely before you leave on a Mission go before our Heavenly Father on bended knee, pour out your soul, talk to Him and humbly ask in faith believing and the Holy Ghost by the Power of God will give unto you to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was crucified for the sins of the World. He willingly gave His life for the great Atoning Sacrifice to break the bonds of death and bring about the Resurrection for all. When you receive this witness it will be a Revelation from God unto you that you should treasure, nurture and testify to others. This testimony will lift you over all the rough spots in mortality and you will never falter or be led astray from God.
There are glorious days ahead for you and blessings unnumbered and unknown by you at this time. Live righteously for these blessings and seek for the righteous desires of your heart that are right before God and He will grant them unto you in His TIME ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH IN KEEPING ALL OF HIS COMMANDMENTS.
There are turbulent times ahead in this wicked World therefore be on guard from evil night and day. Hold tight to the Gift of the Holy Ghost, keep your mind and heart pure that you will be able to use this Golden Gift from God whenever needed. You will need to live near unto our Heavenly Father and the Lord Jesus Christ because today there is a fine line between good and evil. You will be blessed with an increased power of discernment to recognize the appearance of evil. You will always choose the right and the good things in life to fill your soul.
You will witness the coming of the Savior in the Clouds of Heaven with the Holy Angels to begin the Millennium and be invited to stand on His Right Hand with the Righteous. Remain faithful to the end and you will receive a Crown of Righteousness for your diligent service and good life before the Lord.
Go forward seeking for a Personal Testimony and the Saving Blessings of our Heavenly Father by clinging fast to the Iron Rod the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you will never make any serious mistakes or fall by the way.
I bestow these Blessings upon you by my Patriarchal Calling, saying that today the Holy Spirit has witnessed God's Love for you which you should hold sacred and keep confidential with your Parents, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
