Brother Samuel, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I place my hands upon your head and give to you a patriarchal blessing. Thou art a descendant of Joseph through the loins of Ephraim, a legal heir to all the blessings of the new and everlasting covenant, even the blessings of Patriarch Jacob shall rest upon you. Dear Brother Samuel, be very humble and obedient like a child and the guardian angel shall watch over you and whisper to you and warn you of danger. Thy faith shall increase and the spirit of prophecy shall rest upon you. The priesthood in its fulness shall be revealed to you in the own due time of the Lord. Thou shall be a hunter and a fisher, even a fisher of men. Thou shall run and not be weary and walk and not get tired. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. If you desire it in your heart thou shall have visions and dreams, and your eyes shall be opened and you shall see in the future to [illegible] the glorious kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus Christ shall be revealed unto you. Can you think of any good thing in the heavens or on earth that shall be in your reach according to your faithfulness. Dear brother, do not forget your secret prayers for that is the key to the Father's heart. I seal you up to eternal life and to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection and receive all the glory and power you prepared yourself for. This I seal upon you and all your former blessings by authority of the holy priesthood in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
