Sister Anna Laura, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I lay my hands upon your head, and in the authority of the Holy Priesthood vesting in me I seal upon you a Patriarchal blessing. You have embraced the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in your youth, and have endeavored to live a holy and upright life, therefore the Lord is pleased to bestow on you great and precious blessings.

You are a daughter of Abraham through the loins of Ephraim, the son of Joseph, the son of Jacob who was sold by his brethren to the Midianites, and taken to Egypt. Therefore you are a legal heir to the covenants and promises which the Lord made to Abraham and confirmed to Isaac and Jacob, and their generations forever. You shall be blessed by the Holy Ghost with light and understanding in the principles of the Everlasting Gospel, that you may teach your children in the true principles that lead to eternal life in their youth, that they may become men and women of faith and do much good in their day and generations.

Your posterity shall increase and become very numerous, and your sons shall hold the priesthood, and shall be able to bring many of the children of Israel to the knowledge of their Redeemer, and assist in the gathering of them from their long dispersion to their promised lands. They shall also assist in building up the City of Zion, the New Jerusalem.

You shall be able to assist in redeeming your dead relatives by performing the ordinances for them in the temples of our God. In the absence of your companion you shall have power, through faith, to administer to the sick of your household in the ordinances of anointing with oil, and the laying on of hands, and in the name of Jesus Christ drive the destroyer from your habitation, and your children shall grow up in health.

You shall have faith to stand in the midst of the Saints of Zion while the judgments of God shall be poured out upon all nations, causing mourning and lamentations among all people. If you desire it with a perfect heart you shall live to see the kingdom of God firmly established and the kingdoms of this world become subject to it.

If you will exercise great faith you shall live to see the City of Zion built up in Jackson County, Missouri, and the Glory of the Lord resting on the Temple therein, and in connection with your companion shall receive an inheritance with the Saints, and your eyes shall behold the Lord Jesus Christ in the flesh.

You shall be blessed with the good things of the earth, and shall not suffer for the comforts of life although the Lord may try you and prove you as he will all his Saints, for after much tribulation cometh the blessings. Therefore I counsel you, Sister, to be patient in tribulation, and murmur not, neither faint, and the Lord your Redeemer will give you power to triumph over all the powers of Satan, and you shall come off conqueror, and rejoice with exceeding great joy, for all things will work together for your good and eternal exaltation.

I bless you in your body, limbs and joints, that you may be strong and enabled to endure all things you may be caused to pass through, and live until you are satisfied with life. You shall come forth in the morning of the first resurrection with your companion and shall reign a queen over your posterity in the House of Israel forever. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I seal you up to eternal life. Even so. Amen.
