*****, as an ordained patriarch in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and by the power of the holy Melchizedek priesthood, I lay my hands upon your head and give you a patriarchal blessing. *****, you should read this blessing often for it will be a source of comfort and direction to you throughout your life.

Remember the blessings of our Father in Heaven are dependent upon your righteousness and your willingness to serve Him and your faithfulness in following the commandments and direction and counsel that He has given to you.

I bless you *****, that you will learn to listen to the teachings of the prophets and that you will be strong in being able to follow their direction that you will have the courage to be the best person you can be. Always call upon our Father in Heaven and the Holy Ghost will be your constant companion to comfort you and protect you in times of difficulty. Remember that Satan would influence for evil those who seek to follow the Lord and build up His kingdom, so always be aware that danger lurks in paths that are not in accordance with the principles of the gospel. If you will remember this, you will be protected, you will be able to discern good from evil and be strengthened with resolve to ban evil thoughts and feelings from your mind.

I bless you that you will have a spirit of purity and righteousness about you, that you will always rejoice in holiness and that which uplifts and leads to our Father in Heaven.

*****, you have come to the earth when there are many opportunities to serve our Father in Heaven in helping build up His kingdom in preparation for the glorious day when the Saviour will return, but there are also new and dangerous paths and temptations, for the world is becoming ripe in iniquity. I bless you that you will be able to feel good about yourself and do the things which your conscience tells you to do and enjoy having the spirit of our Father in Heaven with you at all times.

*****, you are descended from the household of Abraham through the lineage of Ephraim. Through his lineage you will receive all the blessings promised to the righteous descendants of Abraham. You also have responsibilities, for with blessings comes obligations. You will need to dedicate your life to being a servant of our Father in Heaven, to doing that which He would have you do and to helping those around you. I bless you that you will have the gift of compassion and healing, of being your brother's keeper, to help the wounded and the weary, to give them strength though counsel and guidance. You will be instrumental in building up and serving those who are less fortunate, helping them come to understand who they are and what they can be.

I bless you with a desire to go to the temple and receive the covenants of our Father in Heaven and that you will rejoice in those covenants. I bless you that you will be privileged to be sealed in the temple to a righteous priesthood holder and together you will be given the privilege to raise a righteous posterity to our Father in Heaven. You will have interesting personalities entrusted to your care. You will be blessed with the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of these souls, being able to give them guidance and direction as they mature in their life. I bless you that you will be a strength to your husband, that you will love him and let him know it. You will be able to share your innermost feelings and unity will exist in strong ties of love and peace.

I bless you in your studies. I bless you that your mind will be sharpened, that you will be able to learn that which you need to learn. You will be able to discern the teachings that are false and not of God, keeping them in their proper perspective to the gospel of Jesus Christ, knowing that God lives, that all things are His creation.

You are here on His mission for you are a special daughter of God.

Remember that we are here to have joy. Remember that our Saviour has suffered for your sins and your infirmities. He will bear you infirmities that they will be light and you will be able to keep your eye and heart focused on the eternal worlds and the path that has been outlined for you.
