Sister Mary, I lay my hands upon thy head by the authority of the Priesthood & being appointed to bless the fatherless, I seal a fathers blessing on thee; thou art of the same lineage with the companion even of the house of Joseph, & thou has a right to the same blessings & priesthood & power which are sealed upon him; thou shalt have power to heal thy children in the absence of thy companion by the laying on of hands & do miracles for the health & happiness of thy family if it is necessary; Angels shall minister unto thee & increase thy stores of provisions & thy wants shell be supplied; thy house shall be a healthy habitation & thy children shall be a comfort to thee in thine old age; they shall become numerous & be a mighty people; the number of thy years shall be according to thy faith & enjoy all the glory of the R______ (illegible) kingdom, which cannot be described; by patient & listen to counsel & not one word of this blessing shall fail, for I seal it upon thee & thy posterity in common with companion, even so amen.

Beloved Brother, in the name of Jesus Christ I place my hands upon thy head and seal upon thee a patriarchal or father's blessing according to the order of the Church from everlasting. I seal upon thee all the blessings of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the blessings of the priesthood which was sealed upon the children of Joseph. I seal upon thee and thy posterity, for this is thy lineage, thou shalt be blessed with health in thy family and thy children shall multiply like Ephraim and be mighty in the priesthood, shall be able to seal blessings of the new and everlasting covenant upon the children of Jacob. Thou shalt enjoy peace in thy family. Thou shalt go forth to preach the gospel to many people. The Lamanites shall hear thy voice and they shall begin to believe thy word. Thou shalt gather thousands of the remnants of Jacob to the land of Zion. Thou shalt be able to rebuke the winds and the stormy winds, shall do any miracle that is necessary for the gathering of Israel. No power on Earth shall stay thine hand. Thou shalt see Israel gathered and Zion established in peace on the earth, have part in the first resurrection with all thy father's house, and inherit a kingdom that shall never pass away. Amen.
