In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I place my hands on thy head and give thee a Patriarchal Blessing. The Lord God has had His eye over thee before thou camest into this life, for thou was with Him when the morning stars sang together and the sons of God shouted for joy. Thou wast of that number which kept their first Estate, and God, thy Father, shall help thee to keep thy second estate. Thou hast come here of thy free will and choice, that thou mightest obtain a greater exaltation, and thou art one that was chosen and elected to be a Saviour on Mount Zion. The Lord, thy God knew the thoughts of thy heart was to do right, for the Lord thy God will sustain thee through life and I seal upon thy head all thy former blessings and because thou art of the House of Israel even through the loins of Joseph, and through thy faithfulness and thy obedience to the Holy Priesthood, thou shalt go into the Temple of our God and thou shalt have holy oil poured on thy head and be ordained a Priest and a King to the Most High; and thou shalt live to an honorable old age, and thou shalt see many turn away from the truth, but thou shalt stand firm as the pillars of Heaven, and the visions of Eternity shall be made manifest to thee; And I bless thee with thrones, principalities and powers and I bless thee with the blessings of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection. I seal thee up unto eternal life, even so, Amen.
