Sister Hilda Lindberg, inasmuch as it is your desire that you shall have a patriarchal blessing, by the authority of the priesthood, of God, I lay my hands upon your head, and bless you with a father's blessing, and I pray God our Eternal Father that He will bless you and strengthen you and assist you at all times, that you may be able to overcome all weakness and imperfections, that our Father in Heaven will bless you with the spirit of discernment. I pronounce upon your head the spirit of God, the spirit of discernment through your life. Inasmuch as you have been born into the world of goodly, upright, virtuous parents, who you owe for your existence, for your perfect body and for your beautiful countenance, I pray God the Eternal Father that He may bless you, that you may look to your father and mother for counsel and advice at all times. Inasmuch as you so far have lead a pure life, God is pleased with you, and will continue to bless you from time to time. You will be sheltered and protected from the hands of the destroyer, and when the time comes that a companion shall be raised up for you, be wise in all of your undertakings, that the spirit of God may direct you in all these things.

Seek the Lord often and earnestly, that he may enlighten and expand your pure mind with the influence of His Holy Spirit for you in time will become a mother in Israel, and have influence not only with your family, but amongst your associates, your sisters, and those whom you shall labor among.

Inasmuch as you have been born of goodly parents, inasmuch as you are of the seed of Israel, having descended from our Fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, through his son, Joseph, and his son, Ephraim, you are entitled to all the blessings and privileges pertaining to the lineage. You are greatly blessed in having come to the world in this day and time, through the lineage you have come. Your spirit was pure and holy, and kept its first estate in the spirit world. You are now here in the flesh to keep your second estate, and I pray God the Eternal Father that you may be able to do so that your guardian angels may be around about you, and God will assist you. Inasmuch as you will keep the Word of Wisdom, keep your body clean and pure, the destroyer will not have power over you. That when disease and sickness that are about to come among the children of men shall come, you will be able to withstand all these calamities and God will assist you and Help you that you will be faithful to him in all things.

Therefore, dear sister, as a patriarch in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I seal you against the power of the destroyer, until you shall come forth in the morning of the first resurrection crowned with every blessing and glory that your heart may desire in righteousness. So far as you shall live and be worthy of these blessings God will bless you accordingly. I pronounce this blessing upon your head in the name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, Amen.
