Brother John L. Bench, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by virtue and authority of the Holy Priesthood which I bear, I place my hands upon thy head and seal upon thee a Patriarchal Blessing.

Thou art of the house of Israel through the linage of Joseph. There are great blessings in store for thee. Thou shalt be much blessed of the Lord. Thou shalt be able to go forth and preach the Everlasting Gospel to the nations of the earth. Thou shalt have joy and satisfaction in thy labors, and the Lord will greatly bless thee in thy labors, and thou shalt find many friends to assist thee in thy labors, and thou shalt be able to preach the everlasting Gospel and bring many souls to a knowledge of the truth.

Thou shalt be able to confound they enemies and thou shall be able to accomplish a great work. Thou shall not lack friends nor the necessities of life.

Thou hast been much favored of the Lord. Thou shall live to see many great changes in the earth. Thou shall live to accomplish a mighty work in thy day and generation. Thy door shall always be open to the weary and oppressed.

The Lord will bless thee with great wisdom. Thou shall be a great stay in thy father's house. Thy wisdom shall be sought after. Thou shall be blessed with a mighty posterity. And I seal all my former blessings upon thy head, and all the blessings that will be for thy good, inasmuch as thou will be humble, prayerful and faithful, the Lord will bless thee with every blessing thy heart can desire.

Thou shall come forth in the morning of the first resurrection, and I seal every blessing upon thy head that will be for thy good in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
