Sister Ellen in the name of Jesus Christ I lay my hands upon thy head in order to pronounce and seal a blessing upon thee which shall be as the spirit may invite. Therefore I say unto thee, prepare thy mind to receive the blessings which the Lord shall see fit to bestow upon thee. Thou art of the House of Israel and of the lineage of Ephraim and entitled to many blessings. Thou hast also as it were seen trials and afflictions, but nothing to compare with many of the saints. Thou hast also left thy nature Land kindred and friends for the gospel's sake for which thou shalt receive thy reward if thou art faithful and do not forfeit these blessings through disobedience and carelessness. Therefore I say unto thee be upon thy guard and forget not to be humble and prayerful and thou shalt have the spirit of the Lord to be with thee day by day and guide thy footsteps and open the way before thee and thou shalt see better and happier days. The Lord knoweth the integrity of thy heart and will deal out blessings unto thee according as thou shalt merit, and I say unto thee be of good cheer and let thy heart be comforted. Be not cast down in spirit but be buoyant with thee and thine, and thy children shall be a comfort to thee in thine old age and rise up and bless thee for the good counsel which thou hast given them. This blessing I seal upon thy head and I seal thee up unto eternal life to come forth in the morning of the first resurrection. Even so Amen.
