Sister *****, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the authority of a Patriarch, I lay my hands upon your head and seal upon you this Patriarchal blessing.

And I say unto you, that you are of the House of Israel, through the loins of Ephraim, and as a daughter of Israel you are entitled to the blessings of all good women.

Your Father in Heaven is pleased with you and with your conduct in life. There have been times in your life when you have felt a rebellious spirit, but through the teachings that were given unto you in your youth, they have helped you to overcome that feeling, and a testimony of the Gospel has been given unto you.

Your Father in Heaven is able to bless His children with all the blessings that they need during this life's sojourn. And I say unto you, Sister *****, to draw nearer unto your Father through the Spirit of Prayer, and through the Spirit of Service in your family and in your church when strength has been restored unto you.

There are many great promises that have been made unto the daughters of Israel, but the greatest promise of all is that promise of eternity of the marriage covenant, and the greatest comfort that can come in the heart of a mother, is to know that her children are hers throughout time and throughout all eternity.

This blessing is worth laboring and striving for, and having received it you and your children have become subject to the conditions of the new and the everlasting covenant, and there remains the responsibility of teaching them concerning the Celestial Kingdom of God, and all that it means through this life and throughout life and throughout eternities that are yet to come.

And through your children shall come your greatest blessings. Inasmuch as your health has been impaired through physical disarrangement, you have special need to draw nearer unto your Father in Heaven, and to be guided by His Spirit; and the influence of His Power will be with you.

God is the great physician. He it was who formed our bodies in the beginning, and knows every organ and what its functions should be, and you can receive from Him inspiration as to what is the best course for you to pursue, that your health might be restored, and that life might bring unto you the full joy of your being.

The Word of Wisdom was given unto the Children of God that they might care for themselves, that they might have health in their navel and marrow might be formed in their bones, to feed and to sustain wherein you are lacking.

The blood in your body does carry the nourishment from one extremity of your body unto the other, and it must be given life-giving strength through the things which you shall eat. Make a study of the food that is most helpful unto you. You know what distresses you, so be careful in these things. Consult wise and experienced physicians, but above all, use the judgment which God has given unto you.

The blessings of life shall be yours. The blessings of health and strength shall be given back unto you and you shall live to enjoy your life here and to see your children raised to maturity, and to fondle your grand-children.

These blessings I seal upon your head for your comfort and for your instruction, and they shall be yours through your faithful endeavors to serve your maker, and I do it in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
