Dear Sister *****: By the authority of the Priesthood which I hold, I now place my hands upon your head, and pronounce a blessing upon you which if you are faithful to your duties shall be of great comfort and give you happiness in this life here upon this earth.

You have been born of goodly parents, the blood of many Pioneers flow through your veins, for which some day you will give thanks to your Heavenly Father. I bless you in the name of the Lord, with health and with strength in every part and portion of your body. You shall walk and not be weary. You shall have strength to perform your duties always, in whatever capacity you may be called. If you are true and faithful, and will seek our Heavenly Father in humbleness and prayer, in time of need, if you ask in faith you shall receive an answer to your prayers. You have been born in this wonderful land of America, a land where men and women have come from many lands so that they might live in peace and happiness; and many have come here so that they might worship God according to their hearts desire; where they might live in peace and safety. I bless you in your basket, in your storehouse, you shall always have plenty for yourself and your family and have some to spare for those who are in need. Do not forget the Lord or his servants, do all you can to help those who are preaching the true and everlasting gospel. Be kind to your father and mother, and all of your loved ones, be kind to those who shall seek your help in their hour of trials. Honor and respect those who may be placed in authority over you, and listen to the counsel of your parents and their advice which they will give from time to time. You are now going with your father and mother brothers and sisters to a new home, you shall find much joy and happiness with your family and your associates.

You shall always have a home. You shall never suffer for food and raiment, wherever you may be.

You are of lineage of Ephraim, you have come through the loins of many honorable men and women.

I seal you up to eternal life to come forth upon the morning of the first resurrection together with your father and mother, brothers and sisters, and many kindred. I seal these blessings upon you through your faithfulness, and upon the condition that you are faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Latter Day Saints, and by the authority of the Priesthood which I hold, and in the name of Jesus Christ.
