Dear Sister *****, in my calling as a patriarch in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I place my hands upon your head to pronounce a patriarchal blessing upon you according to the order of the priesthood. This can be a guide and a protection to you in your life. As you read it frequently and prayerfully you will learn something of who you are, something of your gifts and of the things that your Heavenly Father would desire of you.

You live in a marvelous time, *****, born of goodly parents who love the Lord, with security in your home and in your association with family and friends. As you proceed through your life you will feel the pleasing hand of God upon you, strengthening you in times of difficulty, encouraging you to move upward and try new things in your life. You will feel the witness of the Spirit that this is the work of God and not of man and you will bear that testimony to others when it is fitting to do so.

You are of the loins of Ephraim. You are numbered among the covenant people of the Lord, a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You will have your place in the affairs of the Lord as you share the gospel with others and help to establish Zion in these latter-days.

Your young years are the years to form lasting qualities that will take you through the rest of your life. These patterns of goodness will bless many lives. In your service in the church you will serve both young and old as the years come and go. Many will call you blessed because of your steadying influence and your testimony of God and His work.

You are to honor your father and mother and seek counsel from their hands in the important decisions of your life. Your life will then unfold as a beautiful blossom, even a jewel in the hand of God as He gathers His treasures. You will have a strong and abiding testimony in the living servants of God, the prophets and apostles who preside over this work. You will desire to live their teachings and their counsel.

Your life will have much that is beautiful and lovely in it as you develop your talents and come to recognize the quiet voice of the Spirit in your day to day affairs. You have discernment of spiritual things and can feel in an instant when there is evil present. Your life is to be chaste and clean that the Spirit of the Lord may bless you and guide you in your affairs.

You will in due time be a mother in Israel with a righteous companion at your side, together to bless and nurture the children that will come into your family. I bless you with health and strength sufficient to fill your mission in life, especially in being a mother and a wife. As you live the commandments of the Lord, as you protect and honor the body that you have been blessed with, you will increase in health and strength and vitality through the years.

You will enjoy some of the gifts of the Spirit that God has promised to those who are trying to be faithful in keeping His commandments. Seek for those that you would desire to have as you read of them in the scriptures. God who is good and kind and merciful, will bless you in your moments of need. Let charity fill your soul with kindness for others. Let the light of the Lord shine in your countenance to those about you, and in so doing you will help to steady the lives of some who are inclined to stray from the path of righteousness.

Your association with your friends has been an important foundation in your young years. You will be a blessing to others in your youth and throughout your life and will be looked upon as one who is steady in her course, one who is devoted to doing good, one whose life is anchored in the Lord Jesus Christ.

You will come forth in the morning of the first resurrection numbered with those who have been faithful to God in their years of mortality. Your testimony of this great latter-day work of the restoration will never diminish. It will grow and increase as time goes by until you will have a perfect witness that Joseph Smith is the Lord's prophet and that God lives and is over this work with all of His children throughout the world. You will have compassion for those who sorrow, who suffer, and who hunger after righteousness. You will be a rich influence in many lives, most of which you will be unaware of.

God bless you to move forward and be faithful in your life that He may call you home to Him to find rest in your Redeemer in the mansions on high when life is ended. Many activities in your life, *****, may not be mentioned in this blessing. You are free to choose your course in life and will feel pleasure and satisfaction doing many good things. This I pronounce upon you this day by the authority of the priesthood which I bear and in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
