Brother *****, by the power of the Melchizedek Priesthood that I hold and in the name of our Beloved Savior Jesus Christ, I place my hands upon your head to give to you a Patriarchal Blessing. This Blessing will be a source of strength and a help to you throughout your life, and will provide insight and understanding as to capabilities you have and things you can accomplish for your Heavenly Father. The Blessing is given in response to your request and by virtue of my calling as a Patriarch in the Church.

*****, our Heavenly Father has seen fit to bless you with keen intelligence, yet with a sensitive heart that desires to understand what he might do for his Heavenly Father. He has blessed you with a desire to learn and understand the teachings that have been given to us through revelation, and to understand how to use revelation to benefit your life and the lives of others. You also have a desire to help others understand. In the Pre-existence you demonstrated similar characteristics. You helped to prepare some individuals for their assignments here upon the earth. You supported the Savior. You were selected to be born in the last days. You have been endowed with gifts, talents, and capabilities to be able to endure the conditions that are present upon the earth that you might be able to go back to be with your Heavenly Father again.

*****, you have been given the name of one of the great prophets, an individual who strived to understand his relationship to his Heavenly Father. You have similar desires to know what is expected of you, and to live in obedience to what is given. You have been born through the lineage of Ephraim, though you have the blood of more Tribes running in your veins, that you might help fulfill the responsibility of Ephraim here upon the earth, which is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the world and share it with those who sit in darkness. Be not hesitant to bear your testimony to those with whom you associate. The Spirit will make the words that you say profound and influential to those to whom you speak. Trust your Heavenly Father. He will give to you the words, the confidence, the feelings, and the beliefs that are necessary for you to fulfill this responsibility.

*****, the day will come when you will be called to serve your Heavenly Father. You will be sent to a people who will benefit from your personality and the intellectual knowledge with which you have been endowed. Keep the mission rules. Live in obedience to the guidance and counsel you receive from those who have been called to lead you, and you will become great in the eyes of your Heavenly Father and will fulfill a great mission for Him here upon the earth.

*****, our Heavenly Father has blessed you with an ability to understand. Keep the commandments you have been given. Strive to understand more of what is expected of you, and your Heavenly Father will bless you with both physical and spiritual strength. For you to be physically healthy you need to pay attention to the dietary food that you eat and physical exercise. To be intellectually healthy you need to stimulate your mind. You need to contemplate what is expected, and what you can do for your Heavenly Father. To be spiritually healthy you must search out, and learn to be responsive to, the Spirit of your Heavenly Father that you might put into balance the intellectual and the spiritual aspects of this earth life. Our Heavenly Father will also bless you that you can be patient with those in the Church who are not as tenacious in adherence to the commandments as you are. Help them to understand the blessings that come from obedience. Help them to comprehend that peace and contentment only come to one's life when they learn to obey their Heavenly Father and learn to serve Him in an appropriate way.

*****, you need to be aware that Satan has desired to claim you his. Insulating barriers have been placed between you and he that Satan has not been able to test you beyond your ability to overcome. As you remain close to your Heavenly Father these barriers will persist. At no time in your life will you ever be expected to endure that which you are not capable of overcoming. Further, with this blessing, I amplify your sensitivity to the Spirit of your Heavenly Father. I bless you that you will have the power of discernment to understand right and wrong. I bless you that you will know when friends and associates are attempting to have you deviate from good decisions you have made. I bless you with strength that you might have the peace and knowledge that you are doing what your Heavenly Father expects. Only those who align themselves to the teachings of their Heavenly Father are endowed with peace and comfort to know that they are living the Gospel principles to the expectation of their Heavenly Father. Such can be yours if you remain close to your Heavenly Father and are obedient to Him and the commandments He has given.

You are encouraged to continue to read the scriptures and to strive to understand the teachings of the prophets. You are encouraged to teach others the same that, through what you know and what you learn, you might guide others along the pathway of eternal salvation; that they might also receive the blessings of their Heavenly Father and might enjoy the comfort that comes from Him in times of trial and in times of stress.

*****, as you learn to live in obedience and as you align your life to eternal precepts, I promise you that our Heavenly Father will bring you forth in the Morning of the First Resurrection, clothed in the Robes of the Holy Priesthood, which Robes are clean, white, and pure. These Robes symbolize the cleanliness and purity that are required for one to live in the presence of our Heavenly Father. You will be able to overcome sin that you might stand beside a companion in the presence of your Brother Jesus Christ. There will be those there who enjoy and appreciate being there with you, that they can thank you for what you have done for them.

*****, you have received the Aaronic Priesthood. The day will come when the Melchizedek Priesthood will fall upon your shoulders. Understand the offices and callings within the Melchizedek Priesthood that you might function appropriately in the positions that will be given to you. Remain close to your Heavenly Father that under His inspiration you might use the Priesthood to bless others. You will be able to counsel others through the Priesthood as to what they ought to do in their lives. You will be instrumental in placing your hands upon those who need to be comforted and assisted. You will observe miracles occur wherein the sick and afflicted are healed. In all of these things remain close to your Heavenly Father that you might be a proper voice for Him and that you might be a servant for Him to accomplish His purpose here upon the earth.

The day will come when you will go to a temple of your Heavenly Father wherein you will be sealed to a young woman of your choice that a Patriarch Home might be established here upon the earth. Your home will be blessed with children. Teach them what you have learned. Counsel them as you have been counseled. Help them understand what they need to do to go back to be with Heavenly Father again. Use your intellect and your wisdom to provide a safe haven for them that they might likewise live in the earthly environment in a positive and productive way.

*****, our Heavenly Father will be with you throughout your life. His Spirit will be a constant companion of yours. At no time in your life will you ever be left alone. He expects you to use the intellect, with which you have been blessed, to analyze and to strive to understand. Recognize, however, that there will be decisions that you are required to make, on occasion, wherein the information is inadequate to arrive at the proper decision. So, it is requisite that you learn to trust your Heavenly Father and the Spirit that He will send to you that you might make those decisions appropriately. Your Heavenly Father's Spirit will be with you in your studies and will be with you throughout your life that you can accomplish what you need to do. Your Heavenly Father will endow you from on high and will bless you with His blessings that you might achieve the full measure of your creation.

Understand that He will be with you through the Spirit. He will help you to be successful throughout this life.
